What Can You Expect Once You Start Your Treatment?

Our mission is to help our patients achieve better health and a beautiful smile by starting with a good foundation. That means straightening the teeth so they’re in proper alignment and are functioning correctly. You’re never too old to benefit from straighter teeth.

Your Treatment Plan

The process begins with digital scans of your teeth to create your treatment plan. Using CandidPro’s software, we can accurately predict how your teeth will change over time with CandidPro. Once your digital plan is finalized, your custom aligners are made using CandidPro’s state-of-the-art printing process.

No Follow up Appointments with CandidPro

You will be provided with all of the aligners at the beginning of your treatment. Wear each set of clear aligners for 10-14 days. Your teeth will shift into place a little at a time. Before proceeding to the next set of aligners, you will scan your teeth with the CandidApp, the Scan Box, and your smartphone.

These scans are reviewed by a Candid Orthodontist who will let you know via the CandidApp if it is safe to move on to the next set of aligners. If there are any problems along the way, CandidPro will notify, Dr. Walton so the issue can be resolved before continuing with treatment.
Thanks to the CandidApp, the average treatment time is 7 months!

Cost Of Invisalign In Providence

With a typical insurance plan, a CandidPro treatment usually averages between ½ to ⅓ of the cost of traditional braces and Invisalign. After an oral exam, we would be happy to provide you with an accurate quote for your out-of-pocket expenses.
Without insurance, Invisalign treatment typically costs about $2500 to $3500.

  • How much your teeth need to shift.
  • The length of your treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

CandidPro is more comfortable and more discrete than braces. The clear custom-fit trays are so transparent most people won’t even realize you’re wearing them! Plus, they can be removed for important presentations or dates! The trays are also smooth against the inside of your mouth and don’t pinch or scratch like the brackets from braces. If your trays rub on your gums, they can be easily adjusted.
CandidPro trays exert a gentler pressure compared to braces and only shift teeth in small increments. That makes CandidPro orthodontics far more comfortable than conventional methods.
CandidPro makes changes to your teeth very gradually. Minor changes can be made in a few short weeks with little discomfort, and more complex changes occur over a longer period to ensure you stay as comfortable as possible. There may be some discomfort, but if your CandidPro aligners hurt, let us know.
On average, it takes anywhere from 6 to 12 months for your teeth to move into the correct position with CandidPro. However, most patients start noticing some movement within the first 6 weeks after getting their first set of aligner trays. The more changes you would like to see, the longer it will take no matter what orthodontic option you choose.
Twice a day, remove your tray and clean it before putting it back in. If you take your aligner out at any time, always rinse it before you put it back in, and try not to let it sit in the open air when you aren’t wearing it.
You may soak your aligners in denture cleaner and carefully rinse them before putting them back in your mouth. Do not eat or drink with your trays in, and do not use toothpaste to clean your trays. We will provide you with detailed home care instructions when you receive your first trays.
Never eat with your aligners in your mouth. Chewing can damage or even crack your aligners.
CandidPro aligners should be worn at all times, except when eating and drinking. This includes during sleep. Your clear aligners won’t work if they’re not constantly shifting your teeth over time, which means you have to wear them about 22 hours a day.

Please note, additional appointments may be necessary for optimal dental care. We have a cancellation policy in place requiring 48-hours notice for regular appointments and 4 business-days for specialist ones. Non-compliance incurs a $50 fee for standard appointments and $150 for specialty appointments.
